You can now view the attractions available in York, Beverley, Northam, Cunderdin and Toodyay.

This site enables you to download AUDIO and/or print out TEXT and PHOTOS before leaving home onto your own devices so that you can have the pleasure of an informed commentary as you walk or drive around the town of York.

Maps of the walks and drives are set out clearly for you to follow in the download section.

A section in the Short Walk and Drive is available for you to view the buildings that still stand proudly in Avon Terrace, the main street and other significant constructions like the Churches, private homes and outbuildings.

Wildflowers

Wildflowers are listed in York and Beverley with the most likely places you will see these unique flowers. Maps are available in the Downloads Section to guide you to the places to view them.

A general monthly calendar of the flowers that you are most likely to see at the time of your visit is featured.

During the month of September there are displays of wildflowers in other towns north of York. In Kings Park in Perth there are displays all through September and a special display over the long weekend at the end of September.

The history of York is portrayed in photographs and stories of the Balladong people the original inhabitants of this land, the coming of the Europeans in 1831 devastated the Balladong people and the effect they had on the landscape.
